Hotel Review: Sincero Hotel & Apartment, Danang – Vietnam

November 26, 2020 By James Clark

Hotel Review: Sincero Hotel & Apartment, Danang - Vietnam

Hotel Name: Sincero Hotel & Apartment
Address: 94 Le Quang Dao, Bac My Phu, Ngu Hanh Sơn, Da Nang, Vietnam

I stayed at the Sincero Hotel & Apartment in Da Nang. I booked online at the rate of 308,886 VND per night ($13.42 USD), and I booked it for its price and location in Da Nang.

The Sincero is on the beachside of Da Nang, in the area popular with expats and digital nomads. This is one of my favourite areas to stay in Da Nang, so it makes booking easier when I am just searching in this area. When you open a hotel booking site for Da Nang you will be overwhelmed with choice. Having a favourite area at least whittles down the options.

The My An beach area has an oversupply of new apartments, and with the pandemic putting a halt to international travel, I was here at a time of discount travel deals.

I like staying in apartments (and I also look on Airbnb), but sometimes I find them a hassle if there is not an efficient checking-in system. I hate waiting around for someone to open the apartment. The Sincero is a hotel and apartment operation, and they have a full-time receptionist.

Sincero Hotel & Apartment

I booked a 1-bedroom apartment with a window. I made sure I booked a window room because these skinny buildings usually have rooms without windows. I was almost assigned a windowless room until I showed my booking.

Sincero 1 bedroom

My room had a double bed with the bathroom attached to the bedroom. The window looked out to an alley, but I didn’t book for a view. The bed was comfortable, and there was a separate A/C unit in the bedroom and lounge room.

Bedroom

There is a kitchen in the apartment, not that I needed it.

There is free wifi here, and I got a good connection in my room.

The window of the lounge room has a balcony, but that looks out onto another building. If you want a better view, then ask for a room facing the main road.

Balcony

The bathroom was clean and modern, with a good walk-in shower.

Bathroom

Sincero-branded toiletries in the bathroom.

Toiletries

The hotel/apartment is less than 5 minutes walk from the beach, so I appreciate hotels that have foot washers at the front entrance.

Outside footwash

There is no breakfast service here, but there are plenty of cafes nearby.

I noticed that Sincero was offering monthly rentals here as well. If you were thinking of moving to Da Nang, I think the best thing to do is book a room somewhere for a few days and then have a look around when you arrive. With so many empty hotels and apartments, there are plenty of deals going on.

Sincero room for rent

Overall this was a great place to stay in Da Nang if you are looking for short-term apartment-style accommodation. Obviously, my rate was extra cheap due to the pandemic, but in terms of accommodation and location it was ideal for me.

Book the Sincero Hotel & Apartment online, or search for more hotels in Da Nang.

Here is another review of an apartment in Da Nang that I stayed at, just around the corner from the Sincero.
