Hotel Review: Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel, Phan Thiet – Vietnam

February 28, 2025 By James Clark

Hotel Review Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel Phan Thiet Vietnam

Hotel review of the Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel in the beach resort area of Phan Thiet, Vietnam.

Hotel Name: Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel.
Address: 69 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ham Tien, Mũi Né, Phan Thiet, Vietnam.

I stayed at the Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel in Phan Thiet, Vietnam. I booked online at the rate of 272,451 VND ($10.68 USD) per night, and I booked it for its price and location in Phan Thiet.

Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel is located in Hem 69 (Alley 69) on Nguyen Dinh Chieu, which is the main road of the Phan Thiet/Mui Ne beach area. This is in Phan Thiet, while Mui Ne is further down the road. The name Mui Ne is more famous though, so many hotels in the Phan Thiet area brand themselves as Mui Ne.

Hem 69 is a popular budget/backpacker alley in this area. There are numerous guesthouses in this alley, and Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel is one of a few other budget properties that is run by the same business. The end of the alley is steep (thus the name) and it’s not wide enough for cars.

There was a notice to check in at Mui Ne Hills Bliss Hotel first, which is part of this hotel group on the hill. After I checked in I was shown to my room by the friendly security uncle. The hotel has a pool in front of the rooms, and you can also use the pool at the Bliss Hotel.

My room was a “Standard Double”. The room was small with the bed fitting snugly into the length of the room.

There was enough room on the side to walk through and place your bags. The bed was comfortable and the room had air-conditioning, so that ticked the boxes for budget hotel requirements.

A kettle with no coffee to go with it, and there was no problem with the wifi as the wifi box was in the room.

The bathroom was large compared to the bedroom, and it was bright and in good condition.

The hotel is on top of a hill, so you can see the sea from the balcony.

Overall this was a good option if you just want a basic cheap room within walking distance to the beach. I have stayed in this street before at Huyen Tran Bungalow, and this area is one of the best places to stay in Phan Thiet.

Check prices for the Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel or search for more hotels in Phan Thiet.

Another good thing about this beach area is that you can get the train from Saigon to Phan Thiet, making it an easy getaway from the big city.
