Hotel Review: Hotel 1 and 10, Mue Ne – Vietnam

Hotel Review: Hotel 1 and 10, Mue Ne - Vietnam

Hotel Name: Hotel 1 and 10
Address: 261A Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ham Tien, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Vietnam.

I stayed at the Hotel 1 and 10 in Mui Ne. I was looking for a budget guesthouse and this was one of the cheapest options. I was in Mui Ne over the national reunification day holiday as well, so bookings were fairly limited by the time I got round to booking.

Mui Ne is a beach resort area named after a nearby fishing town. The beach runs between Phan Thiet and Mui Ne, so when booking hotels you may see either name in the booking. The Hotel 1 and 10 is a about 3/4 of the way down the road between Phan Thiet and Mui Ne.

I got a single room with a shared bathroom. The room I got might have been the most basic in all of the guesthouse. It was near the front of the building, and separate from the rest of the rooms. There was no window either, with only an extractor fan offering a bit of light from outside.

Bedroom

I usually get a private bathroom but in this case my room had a shared bathroom. I don’t usually mind, except in this case my room was the furthest away from the bathroom than any other. My room was at the front, and the shower/toilet block was behind another building which I had to walk around to get to.

I forgot how messy shared bathrooms at beach resort hotels can get. There was constantly sand on the bathroom floor, with the drains blocking easily.

Shared bathroom

There is a guesthouse restaurant at the front of the building, and wifi is available throughout the proprety.

I paid $7USD per night for this place, which is cheap for the Mui Ne area. There are so many places in Mui Ne that I wouldn’t come back here again. This place is suitable for backpackers who would prefer a private room.

Book the Hotel 1 and 10 or search for more hotels in Mui Ne.
