Guesthouse Review: You & Me Hostel, Chiang Mai – Thailand

September 26, 2015 By James Clark

Guesthouse Name: You & Me Hostel
Address: House No.15, Sriphoom Rd, Soi 1

You & Me Hostel, Chiang Mai - Thailand

I stayed at the You & Me Hostel in Chiang Mai. I walked in off the street in an area that is lined with accommodation and I paid 300 Baht ($8.30 USD) for double fan room. If you haven’t been to Chiang Mai see this guide on where to stay to get an idea of accommodation types.

The You & Me Hostel is more of a guesthouse than hostel (I didn’t see any dorm rooms at least). It’s a family run business with half of the family downstairs at any one time, and the owner is a friendly and helpful man.

My room was what you would expect from a cheap guest house in Chiang Mai; a basic room where everything works. Nothing amazing but a nice private room.

Double Room

The bathroom was clean and orderly, with hot water as well.

Wifi was throughout the building and I had no problem getting a signal in my room. There is no breakfast service but there is plenty of eating options in the surrounding streets.

There isn’t a website but you can email at Tictok57 at gmail dot com. In this part of Chiang Mai though you would just be better off to walk around and find the first available room if you are looking for something in the 300 THB range.

If you prefer to book something in advance then search for more hotels in Chiang Mai here.
