Hotel Review: Wisma City Inn, Makassar – Indonesia

September 14, 2015 By James Clark

Hotel Name: Wisma City Inn
Address: Jl. Ahmad Yai B 34, Makassar, Sulawesi, Indonesia

Hotel Review: Wisma City Inn, Makassar - Indonesia

I stayed at the Wisma City Inn in Makassar, Indonesia. I booked online which worked out to approximately $16.79 USD per night. I booked it for its location, which is around the Chinatown area.

The hotel is in a side street and it looks like it was once an office block. Perhaps explains why there was a support beam in the middle of my room. The hotel room was clean with a comfortable bed.

The room had a work desk and one power outlet (I travel with a power strip to charge all my electronics at once).

Bedroom

Attached bathroom with hot water and a flushing western toilet. Both were a welcome after travelling in regional Sulawesi.

Bathroom

Downstairs has a public seating area where tea and coffee is available.

Public Area

And this is where breakfast is served. Breakfast consisted of two pieces of white bread with chocolate sprinkles and a coffee. I recommend trying the Pangsit Mie in Chinatown.

Breakfast

Wifi is available throughout the building and I had no problem connecting in my room.

Overall this was a good option for a budget hotel in Makassar. Book the Wisma City Inn online or search for more hotels in Makassar.
