Hotel Review: San San Hotel, Da Nang – Vietnam

April 19, 2025 By James Clark

Hotel Review: San San Hotel, Da Nang - Vietnam

Hotel Name: San San Hotel.
Address: 54 An Thuong 26, My An, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang, Vietnam.

Hotel review of the San San Hotel in Da Nang – a budget hotel in the An Thuong beach area that is popular with digital nomads.

I stayed at the San San Hotel in Da Nang, Vietnam. I booked online at the rate of 288,113 VND ($11.08 USD), and I booked it for its price and location in Da Nang.

(The word for hotel in Vietnamese is Khach San, so the hotel is also listed as Khach San San San.)

The San San Hotel is near the beach in the An Thuong Streets area, which has become a popular digital nomad area. If you are new to the city, here is my full guide on where to stay in Danang.

An Thuong 26 in Da Nang

This beach area only started being developed in the 2000s, so most of the buildings are new. The San San Hotel stands out as an unusual hotel for its use of brick and its width (most of the buildings are tall and skinny).

The lobby is also unusual among the newer hotels as it is decked out with wooden panelling.

I booked a Deluxe Double Room. The room had a window but it was to the side with no view (a view of the building next door). The room was also fitted out with wooden furnishings.

The bed was firm but not uncomfortable. The room has the option of air conditioning and fan.

There was good wifi reception in the room with signals from different floors.

San San Hotel table

A work desk but not a proper chair, so use these chairs if needed.

The bathroom was in good condition.

There is no breakfast service here, but there are plenty of banh mi carts outside in the morning.

This is a great area for cafes and general hangout area for nomads. I would say that Da Nang is now the digital nomad hub of Southeast Asia.

Overall this was a good place to stay if you are just looking for a cheap room in the most lively beach area of Da Nang.

Book the San San Hotel online or search for more hotels in Da Nang.
