Hotel Review: Phoenix Hotel An Bang Beach, Hoi An – Vietnam

April 12, 2025 By James Clark

Hotel Review: Phoenix Hotel An Bang Beach, Hoi An - Vietnam

Hotel Name: Phoenix Hotel An Bang Beach.
Address: 139 Nguyen Phan Vinh, Cam An, Hoi An, Vietnam

Hotel review of the Phoenix Hotel An Bang Beach in the An Bang beach neighbourhood of Hoi An, Vietnam.

I stayed at the Phoenix Hotel An Bang Beach in An Bang, Hoi An. I booked online at the rate of $15 USD per night, and I booked the room for its price and location in An Bang.

Phoenix Hotel An Bang Beach

An Bang is one of the beach neighbourhoods of Hoi An, and it’s my preferred area to stay when I visit Hoi An. If you are visiting Hoi An for the first time, I suggest staying nearer to the old town. Read my guide on where to stay in Hoi An to help decide.

The Phoenix Hotel An Bang Beach is on the main road that goes through the beach community area. It’s not a through-road, so it’s a quiet street. It’s also a close walk to the beach via the alleys that run off this road.

The hotel has a restaurant and bar on the street level, with the reception area in the bar.

The rooms are bungalow-style that are on top of the restaurant area.

My room type was “Exclusive Room”, which has a double bed with private bathroom.

The bed was comfortable and the room has air-conditioning. There was a good wifi reception in the room.

The hotel provides bottled water in reusable bottles, and they have bathroom towels and beach towels.

Phoenix Hotel TV

The bathroom was in good condition, though it was an odd design decision to have the sink outside the bathroom.

My room had a private balcony on the side. The main downside of the room was that there are no windows, so the room is dark at anytime of day or night.

There is live music on some nights, but it doesn’t go too late. There is also live AFL football for the Australians in the house.

Overall this is most suitable if you are on a budget and want to be near the beach.

Book the Phoenix Hotel An Bang Beach online or search for more hotels near An Bang Beach.
