Hotel Review: Forget Me Not Hotel, Nha Trang – Vietnam

May 1, 2019 By James Clark

Hotel Review: Forget Me Not Hotel, Nha Trang - Vietnam

Hotel Name: Forget Me Not Hotel
Address: 2S Quan Tran, Hung Vuong Street, Nha Trang, Vietnam.

I stayed at Forget Me Not Hotel in Nha Trang, Vietnam. I was in Nha Trang on a stopover for a day, so I was just looking for a cheap room for the night. Forget Me Not Hotel is a budget guesthouse located near the beach, which is the best area to stay in Nha Trang. The rate was 232,143 VND ($9.90 USD) per night.

The Forget Me Not Hotel is in one of the main hotel areas, though the hotel itself is in an alley and off the busy main street.

Forget Me Not Hotel, Nha Trang

I walked in to find a typical Vietnamese guesthouse in a long and skinny building. After checking in I was shown to my room.

Reception

I got a double room with a private bathroom. My room had a window which open out into the internal foyer. Often these skinny buildings have rooms without windows, so this was a clever way to at least allow outside light and air into the room.

Bed

The room had enough space for a single person, with enough room to place things without tripping over them. Weirdly, the TV was mounted next to the bed, so if you do watch TV you would have to sleep at the other end. There is free wifi at the guesthouse, and I had no issues with the connection during my stay.

TV and table

The bathroom was clean and in good condition.

Bathroom

At the reception they can help with tour bookings for activities in an around Nha Trang, as well as onward transport bookings. These old signs remind me of my first trip to Vietnam in 2005. There were no low cost airlines back then, so the main form of transport for backpackers was by these open bus tickets.

Tours and bus information

There is no breakfast service here, so I went out to one of the cafes nearby.

Overall this was a good place to stay if you’re just looking for a cheap private room in Nha Trang. Book the Forget Me Not Hotel online or search for more hotels in Nha Trang.
