Hotel Review: Delight Hotel Mui Ne, Phan Thiet – Vietnam

April 11, 2023 By James Clark

Delight Hotel Mui Ne

Hotel Name: Delight Hotel Mui Ne.
Address: 109B Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ham Tien, Mũi Né, Phan Thiet, Vietnam.

I stayed at the Delight Hotel Mui Ne in Phan Thiet, Vietnam. I booked at the rate of 360,533 VND ($15.35 USD) per night, and I booked for the price and location in Phan Thiet.

Phan Thiet is a beach area in the South Central Coast of Vietnam. It is often referred to as Mui Ne, even though Mui Ne is the next beach along the coast. I am familiar enough with the beach here, and this is the best area to stay in Phan Thiet.

I got the direct morning train from Saigon to Phan Thiet, which gets you to Phan Thiet before lunch. I was too early to check in so I dropped my bags off and went to a beach cafe. When I returned, the owner was friendly and accommodating in checking me in.

I booked Double Room Balcony, but he offered to move me to another room if the balcony room was too noisy. The room faces the main road, but it s not very busy. For someone who lives in Saigon this traffic noise was laughably quiet.

The bed was comfortable and the room had air conditioning (required). The downside was the lack of convenient power outlets. There is free wifi throughout the hotel.

The bathroom was keep in good condition so I had no problem there.

There is a big mango tree in front of the main window overlooking the road.

At the back of the hotel is a coconut grove and the big sand dune that keeps Phan Thiet sprawling further inland.

The hotel is on the other side of the main beach road, as most cheap hotel are (resorts are on the beach side of the road). The beach is a close walk, but you just have to work out where the beach entrance is first. The best stretch of sand is at this end of Phan Thiet. If you go towards the Mui Ne end, the beach disappears.

Overall this was a good place to stay if you are looking for a budget hotel in Phan Thiet. Check prices for the Delight Hotel Mui Ne or search for more hotels in Phan Thiet.
