Hotel Review: Daisy Hotel, Danang – Vietnam

Hotel Review: Daisy Hotel, Danang - Vietnam

Hotel Name: Daisy Hotel
Address: 115 Tran Phu Street, Han River, Da Nang, Vietnam

Daisy Hotel, Danang - Vietnam

[edit: Daisy Hotel has since closed. This review is left as an archive.]

I stayed at the Daisy Hotel in Danang, Vietnam. I booked on Agoda and picked it mainly for its location of being near the Han River, which is the most central area to be in Danang.

The reception looks run down with scuff marks on the wall and stuff everywhere. The room itself was ok, though the bed was hard. The internet was no problem, even in my fourth floor room.

The bathroom had instant hot water and a cold-water sink. For some reason these cheap hotels never have the plumbing right as the sink pipe wasn’t connected.

Daisy Hotel - Bathroom

It’s a cheapo hotel and some of the reviews make it sound like a dump, but if you are backpacking your way up the coast of Vietnam it does the job, and getting a room with private bathroom for under $15USD is a great deal. There is no breakfast provided but I wasn’t interested in staying somewhere with breakfast when there is delicious pho to be had on the streets for $1.50.

This hotel is now the Evelyn Hotel. Read my review of the Evelyn Hotel.
