Hotel Review: OYO Casa Paradiso Hotel, Panaji, Goa - India

Hotel Name: Casa Paradiso.
Address: 1 Ghanekar Building, Jose Falcao Road, Behind Old Secretariat, Near Panjim Church, Panaji, Goa, India.

I stayed at the Casa Paradiso in Panaji, Goa, India. I booked online and picked it for its price and location in Panaji. The rate was 1186.23 INR ($16.17 USD) per night.

The official name for the Casa Paradiso is the OYO Flagship 22247 Casa Paradiso, or the Collection O 22247 Casa Paradiso.

The Casa Paradiso is an independent hotel that has been rebranded under the massive OYO group, and they inelegantly add OYO and a number to the title.

I booked a double room with a private bathroom, and during the booking process I made sure my room had a window. I was allocated a corner room that had two walls of windows, so no problem with natural light here.

The room had an A/C unit and a fan, and the fan was sufficient to keep the room cool.

The bed was comfortable and there were enough power outlets for my charging needs.

The room had a good little work desk and they provide drinking water in reusable bottles. There is also the mandatory TV, which I wonder if anyone watches anymore in the age of online streaming in the internet.

OYO is a budget hotel chain from India, and I have stayed in a few OYO properties around the world. You can read more about OYO here.

The bathroom was clean and spacious, and it had its own hot water system (not a central hot water system where you are waiting for the water to get hot).

There is free wifi here and I had a good reception in my room. Apparently my booking included breakfast but I didn’t see it there during my stay. I went out for breakfast anyway.

Overall this was an enjoyable place to stay in Panaji. The hotel is centrally located in what is already a very walkable city. Read more about my visit to Panaji.
