Hotel Review: Biet Thu Truong Hai, Da Lat – Vietnam

Hotel Review: Biet Thu Truong Hai, Da Lat - Vietnam

Hotel review of Biet Thu Truong Hai in Da Lat, a budget hotel near the Da Lat Bus Station.

Hotel Name: Biet Thu Truong Hai.
Address: 20d Đường 3/4, Da Lat, Vietnam.

I stayed at Biet Thu Truong Hai in Da Lat, Vietnam. This hotel is near the main bus terminal of Da Lat, which is how I ended up staying here. I had a last-minute change of plans which required a change of booking, so I found the closest hotel in the area. The rate was 220,000 VND ($8.61 USD) per night.

Biet Thu Truong Hai is on 3/4 Road, which is the main road between the city centre and the bus station.

I booked a “Double Room with Balcony”. The room had big windows that made the small room feel bigger than it was.

Biet Thu Truong Hai bed

The bed was comfortable and I had a good wifi signal in the room. Many hotels in Da Lat only have a fan (no air con) as it is not needed in this cool mountain environment.

The bathroom was spacious and had its own hot water unit.

I appreciated having a room with a view.

Even though the hotel is on a busy main road, the back of the hotel looks out over a valley. Da Lat is a jumble of houses and green houses built on the surrounding hills, and this was is typical of the outer suburbs of Da Lat.

Overall this was a good place to stay if you just need a hotel near the bus station, otherwise you would be better off staying in the city centre. Here is my guide on where to stay in Da Lat.

Book the Biet Thu Truong Hai hotel online or search for more hotels in Da Lat.
