Guesthouse Review: TT Guest House, Phnom Penh – Cambodia

December 29, 2017 By James Clark

Guesthouse Review: TT Guest House, Phnom Penh – Cambodia

Guesthouse Name: TT Guest House
Address: #7 dd1, St. 258, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

I stayed at the TT Guest House in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I got a double room with a private bathroom and it worked out at around $14.70 USD per night.

I picked this guesthouse for it’s location near the river. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the main riverfront boulevard, which is one of the best areas to stay in Phnom Penh.

TT Guest House

258 Street is a little backpacker street lined with cheap guesthouses alongside some boutique villas. It’s not a noisy backpacker street like Khao San Rd in Bangkok, but there is a higher prevalence of tuk tuk drivers here ready to greet you with “Tuk Tuk!” once you exit the building.

I booked a room with a window as sometimes these guesthouses don’t have a window. As it turns out I got a corner room with two windows.

My room was spacious and bright, and the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom was ok even though it looks a bit worn out.

There is free wifi at the property and I had no problem with the signal in my room.

There is a restaurant in the lobby where you can buy a simple selection of breakfast items.

Overall this was a decent backpacker guesthouse in Phnom Phnom, especially at this price.

Book the TT Guest House online or search for more hotels in Phnom Penh.
