Directory of the best travel newsletters

July 13, 2025 By James Clark

Travel Newsletters

Browse the travel newsletters directory to find travel reads, delivered to your inbox.

Travel newsletters are a convenient way to stay updated on your favourite travel blogs. They are also a source of travel inspiration, or just a welcome distraction in your inbox from whatever you are supposed to be doing.

I’ve been running a travel newsletter since I started Nomadic Notes in 2009. I also subscribe to many newsletters to find travel reads for my weekly travel reads newsletter at The Travel Wire.

Considering how many newsletters I view every week, I figured it was time to start a travel newsletter directory.

Travel newsletters directory

This is an ongoing directory of active travel newsletters, sorted into categories. I will expand and refine the categories as the list grows.

How to find the best travel newsletters

I’m always on the lookout for great travel newsletters, though discovering them can be difficult. I will usually subscribe to a newsletter if I find a great travel article (if you have a travel site, make sure you have a sign up box).

Directories are a another way of finding newsletters. Inbox Reads is one the most active directories, and they have a directory of travel newsletters.

Substack has their own in-house directory of travel newsletters.
