Hotel Review: The Garden Hotel and Apartment, Da Nang – Vietnam

December 22, 2019 By James Clark

Hotel Review: The Garden Hotel and Apartment, Da Nang - Vietnam

Hotel Name: The Garden Hotel and Apartment
Address: 68 Hung Vuong, Hai Chau, Da Nang, Vietnam.

I stayed at The Garden Hotel and Apartment in Danang, Vietnam. I booked it online and picked it for its location in the city centre of Danang. The rate was 200,000 VND ($8.60 USD), so a great deal for a private room.

The hotel is a short walk from the Han Market, which is the most central point of the city area, and one of the best areas to stay in Danang if you prefer not to stay by the beach. On this trip I split my time between the beach and the city as I like both areas. Here is where I stayed by the beach.

The Garden Hotel and Apartment, Da Nang - Vietnam

The hotel shares a building with a bun cha restaurant but it’s clearly marked outside.

Entrance to The Garden Hotel and Apartment

I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and then shown to my room.

Garden Hotel reception

I got a double room with a private bathroom. The room was spacious enough and the bed was comfortable. The room was air conditioned and overall it was a nice looking room.

Bed

I like these open hanging space not enclosed in a closet (less chance of forgetting something). There is free wifi in the hotel and I had a good connection in my room.

Room

Water and snacks, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Snacks

The bathroom was clean and orderly, with enough space to place things. The soap holder for the shower was inconveniently placed outside the shower area.

Bathroom

I like how they have drinking water available in the reception to refill bottles.

Drinking water

There was no breakfast service here so I went out for a banh mi on the street.

Overall this was a good place to stay if you are looking for a cheap room in Danang. Book The Garden Hotel and Apartment online, or search for more hotels in Danang.
