Hotel Review: Sea Breeze Hotel, Phu Quoc – Vietnam

January 30, 2015 By James Clark

Hotel Review: Sea Breeze Hotel, Phu Quoc - Vietnam

Hotel Name: Sea Breeze Hotel
Address: 62A Tran Hung Dao Street, Long Beach, Duong Dong Town, Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam

I stayed at the Sea Breeze Hotel on Phu Quoc, Vietnam. I booked via Agoda and selected the hotel primarily for its location, which is situated on the edge of Duong Dong town and at the start of Long Beach.

While there is indeed a sea breeze at the Sea Breeze Hotel, it’s not possible to access the beach from here. I could see the sea from my room but it is a rocky section of the beach and the beach access was about 100 metres away. I didn’t select it for its beach view so that was no problem. If you are looking for a beach resort hotel then you would need to move further south down Long Beach.

This hotel served my needs of being close enough to the beach while still being able to access the main town. I wanted to eat local foods in the town rather that eating at resort restaurants so the location was ideal for me.

My room was modern with a comfortable bed and I had a fan room. AC was available but I didn’t need it.

A clean bathroom as well.

A had a good wifi signal in my room and no problem with connections.

There was no breakfast service so I had a banh mi from nearby the hotel.

Book the Sea Breeze Hotel online or search for more hotels in Phu Quoc.
