Hotel Review: Hotel Yasmin, Makassar – Indonesia

September 9, 2015 By James Clark

Hotel Name: Hotel Yasmin
Address: Jalan Jampea No. 5, Makassar, Sulawesi, Indonesia

Hotel Review: Hotel Yasmin, Makassar - Indonesia

I stayed at the Hotel Yasmin in Makassar, Sulawesi. I booked online and selected it for its location in the Chinatown area of Makassar. I think this is the best area for a short-term visitor to Makassar.

The Yasmin is a 3-star business hotel with conference facilities. It looked like it had seen better days but it was a comfortable enough place to stay.

Bathroom was ok.

There is a breakfast service but I opted to try the food in the Chinatown area.

I would have stayed here longer if it wasn’t for the wifi. On Agoda it said wifi in public area but not in the rooms. I saw that but thought there was a chance of wifi in the rooms. There wasn’t, which was a lesson to pay attention to the “wifi in rooms” part of the booking. I had to sit in the foyer (where everyone smokes) to get wifi, which was inconvenient.

If no wifi in your room is no bother then you can book the Hotel Yasmin online.

To look for another hotel search here.
