Guesthouse Review: Guesthouse Pension Andrea, Tirana – Albania

October 19, 2021 By James Clark

Guesthouse Review: Guesthouse Pension Andrea, Tirana - Albania

Hotel Name: Guesthouse Pension Andrea.
Address: Rr.Jeronin de Rada 103, Tirana, Albania.

I stayed at the Guesthouse Pension Andrea in Tirana, Albania. I booked online at the rate of €17 per night, and I booked the room for its price and location in Tirana.

The guesthouse is a 5-minute walk from Skanderbeg Square (the main square of Tirana) so it is in an ideal location for tourism purposes. It’s in a quiet alley that is somehow being used as a communal parking space. Perhaps the residents have access to each car when they need to move. Either way, there was no traffic noise here.

Andreas House

The guesthouse is a house in a walled garden, making it feel even further removed from the city.

I was greeted by the friendly manager and she showed me around the house.

Hallway

My booked room was a “1 Double Room with Extra Bed”, though it was it felt more like a twin room.

The furnishings made me feel like I was staying at an Albanian friend’s grandma’s house, which was a good thing. The old-school bedding of blankets and sheets added to that feeling. There is wifi here though, which I imagine isn’t a feature of your Albanian friend’s grandma’s house.

Bedroom

A clean and bright bathroom with good hot water service.

Overall this was a great guesthouse to stay at in Tirana. Check prices for the Guesthouse Pension Andrea, or search for more hotels in Tirana.

I also stayed at a hostel in Tirana and an aparthostel, and here is my trip report for Tirana.
