Hotel Review: Fulmar Hotel Danang

Hotel Name: Fulmar Hotel Danang
Address: 11 Yen Bai Street, Hai Chau, Da Nang, Vietnam

I stayed at the Fulmar Hotel in Danang, Vietnam. I booked online where the rate was quoted at 25 USD for 2 nights. I picked the hotel for its location near the river in the area that most resembles a downtown area. If you are visiting Danang the best areas to stay are by the river for city access, or by the sea for a beach holiday. The Fulmar is on Yen Bai Street, not far from the central market (Cho Han).

I booked a single room which is ensuite and has air conditioning. The room was very skinny so I assume the cheapest rooms at at the back with the smaller room size.

My bed was a double size bed and was firm but comfortable.

The bathroom was also small but laid out well enough to be easy to use. The bathroom had its own hot water system and the water was piping hot.

There was a basket of drinks and snacks on the table with no price list. I usually would never touch hotel room refreshments without knowing the price. This time I made an exception as usually in cheap Vietnamese hotels the prices are never outrageous. It turned out the chips and water bottles were 10,000 VND each (about .44 USD) so that was a good call.

There was good wifi in the hotel with no connectivity issues in my room. There is no breakfast service so you have to fend for yourself, which was easy enough in this part of the city.

Overall this was a good budget hotel in Da Nang. If you are just looking for a cheap room to stay then this is ideal.
