Hotel Review: Camellia Hotel, Bao Loc – Vietnam

March 11, 2025 By James Clark

Hotel review of the Camellia Hotel in Bao Loc, a budget hotel in Bao Loc in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.

Hotel Name: Camellia Hotel.
Address: 36 Hai Mươi Tám Tháng Ba, Phường 1, Bao Loc, Lam Dong, Vietnam.

I stayed at the Camellia Hotel in Bao Loc, Vietnam. I booked online at the rate of 403,276 VND ($15.80 USD), and I booked it for its location in Bao Loc.

Bao Loc is a city in Lam Dong Province, the second city of the province after Da Lat. I couldn’t find any useful travel information about Bao Loc, so I had to guess the best area. The Camellia Hotel is located next to one of the ornamental lakes in the central city area, and this turned out to be as good as any place to stay.

The hotel shares the reception area with a clothes shop.

I booked a Standard Room, which had a double bed in a spacious room.

The bed was comfortable and the room had a window facing the side. The room has air-conditioning and there was a good wifi reception in the room.

A small work desk that is useful for work once you move the stuff out the way.

A cupboard area with no doors so you don’t forget your things.

The bathroom has its own shower area and it felt clean and modern.

Overall this was a good place to stay on a budget if you happen to be visiting Bao Loc. Book the Camellia Hotel online or search for more hotels in Bao Loc.
