Guesthouse Review: Borey Vatanac Guesthouse, Kampot – Cambodia

Guesthouse Review: Borey Vatanac Guesthouse, Kampot - Cambodia

Guesthouse Name: Borey Vatanac Guesthouse
Address: No. 119-121, Old Market Street, Kampot, Cambodia

I stayed at Borey Vatanac Guesthouse in Kampot, Cambodia. I booked it online for its price and location. It’s a couple of blocks away from the old town market, which is the central point of interest in Kampot. Anywhere within walking distance from there is a good location.

Borey Vatanac Guesthouse

I got a double room with private bathroom and fan only. I was allocated a corner room so I had two windows. It was a pleasure to have such a bright room with great views of the city and surrounding mountains. The room was clean and modern and had everything you need in a budget room. The bed was comfortable, though it was a foam mattress so it gets that foam mattress depression.

The bathroom was small and without a window, but it too was clean and modern. The hot water system was good and there was enough space to place toiletries.

Bathroom

There is free wifi in the guesthouse and I had no problem with connecting. The hallways on each floor had two wifi boxes so that was good to see they take their internet connection seriously.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service here, but it’s close enough to other traveller cafes.

Borey Vatanac

Overall this was a great budget guesthouse to stay at in Kampot.

Book the Borey Vatanac Guesthouse online or search for more hotels in Kampot.

I also stayed at Captain Chim’s Guesthouse.
