Hotel Review: Agosto Inn – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

February 12, 2015 By James Clark

Hotel Name: Agosto Inn
Address: 177A Jalan Tun H S Lee, Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Agosto Inn - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I stayed at the Agosto Inn in the Chinatown area of Kuala Lumpur. I booked online via Agoda and I picked it for its budget price and location. There are lots of budget guesthouses in KL’s Chinatown and you can still find the most basic of rooms for under $20 USD. I paid $16.35 USD for this room.

There are private and dorm rooms here, of which I got a private room. My room had no window though there are some rooms with windows. I picked up wifi in my rooms without any issue.

The rooms share a bathroom which consisted of the toilet/shower room. The bathrooms are small and no place to hang anything but they were kept clean.

There is also a common area upstairs giving the guesthouse a hostel vibe.

Agosto Inn - Common Area

Also similar to a hostel is the kitchen that is available for guest use.

Agosto Inn - Kitchen

No durians and no vomiting. I like this both.

No Durians

Agosto Inn is suitable for budget travellers who are looking for a private room in a hostel-type environment. You can book the Agosto Inn online or search for more hotels and guesthouses in KL.

For tips on which area is the best to stay in read about where to stay in KL.
