I stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel Am Kanzleramt in Berlin, which was provided by a tour company I was working for. A hotel review wasn’t part of the job but I review hotels I stay at anyway.
The Steigenberger Hotel Am Kanzleramt is a 5-star hotel located next to the Berlin Hauptbahnhof, making it a convenient location for visitors to the city. From here you can get trains all over Europe, or catch the subway to other parts of the city. If you are a new visitor to Berlin once you start walking from here there is a lot to see.

This hotel opened in 2014 and has a fresh and modern exterior that matches the newly-built feel of Berlin.
Inside the lobby and reception area is spacious and bright.
While the building looks like a solid block on the outside, there is an interior courtyard, in the same fashion of the old apartment blocks in Europe. My room was facing the courtyard, so all rooms get natural light.
A comfortable and uncluttered work desk. I had good wifi in my room as well, so working in my room was no problem.
Tea and coffee making facilities include a coffee pod machine.
Free mineral water.
I loved the bathroom with the spacious walk-in shower area.
A simple collection of branded toiletries.
The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of breakfast favourites.
