Hotel Review: Ramada Hong Kong Hotel

October 2, 2014 By James Clark Leave a Comment

Ramada Hong Kong Hotel

Hotel Name: Ramada Hong Kong Hotel
Address: 308 Des Voeux Road West, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong

[EDIT: Ramada Hong Kong hotel is now the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong.]

I stayed at the Ramada Hong Kong Hotel on Hong Kong Island. I booked this via Agoda at $54.50USD per night, which is a excellent deal for a 4 star hotel in Hong Kong. If you are travelling in Asia it’s worth searching Agoda via star rating as they specialise in deals in Asian cities. In this case I searched for 4 and 5 star hotels, sorted by price, and found this offer.

The Ramada Hong Kong Hotel is at the western end of the main business district of the island part of Hong Kong. The metro doesn’t go this far west but it is served by the tram which is outside the doorstep. The hotel also offer a scheduled shuttle bus service to public transport.

My room was at a big discount so breakfast wasn’t included. I didn’t mind as I wanted to eat a local breakfast. The deal breaker would have been if I had to pay for internet. The wifi was free and didn’t require continual logging in every time I restarted.

Note: The Ramada Hong Kong Hotel is now the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong. This post is left as a historical archive. Search for more hotels in Hong Kong.
