Hotel Review: Myfriend Hotel, Trang – Thailand

April 4, 2019 By James Clark

Hotel Review: Myfriend Hotel, Trang - Thailand

Hotel Name: Myfriend Hotel
Address: 25/17-20 Sathanee Rd, Trang, Thailand.

I stayed at the Myfriend Hotel in Trang, Thailand. I got a double room with private bathroom, and I booked it online for the rate of 500 THB ($15.68 USD).

Myfriend Hotel is located near the Trang train station, where there are a bunch of other hotels located nearby. I was arriving by train so I wanted a hotel I could walk to from the station. At the station you turn right and it’s a few minutes walk away. The station is in the town so it’s a convenient location. It’s also near travel agents for onward connections to the Trang Islands.

At the reception there is also a lounge, and there are also tables and chairs in a shaded area at the front of the hotel.

My room didn’t have a window to the outside, but there was at least a window that let in light from the hallway.

Room

The bed was comfortable and the room was air conditioned, and all the furnishings were in good order. There is free wifi at the hotel, and I had no problem with the connection during my stay. Free drinking water is also provided.

The bathroom was clean and tidy with a good hot water service.

There is a breakfast service included, which comprised of toast, Trang cake, and sticky rice, and there is a coffee machine.

Breakfast

The cake from Trang is apparently famous across Thailand. I was just happy to have a good excuse to eat cake for breakfast.

Overall this was a good place to stay in Trang. A comfortable budget hotel where everything worked in a convenient location. Book the Myfriend Hotel online or search for more Trang hotels.
