Apartment Review: M In Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima – Thailand

February 9, 2018 By James Clark

Apartment Review: M In Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima - Thailand

Apartment Name: M In Korat Service Apartment
Address: 86 Soi Lumparu 2 Suranaree Road, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand

I stayed at M In Korat in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. I booked it online and picked it for its location and price. I wasn’t familiar with where to stay in Nakhon Ratchasima (AKA Korat), so as this was near the train station I picked it for that. It should be noted that often Thai railway stations are miles from the town centre so that isn’t always a good metric to choose a place. This worked out ok though as the area around the apartment was interesting enough.

M In Korat street entrance

I paid 784.49 THB ($25 USD) for 2 nights, so it was a good deal for a private room. The apartment complex is in a side street about 10 minutes from the train station, on the way towards the old city, which is another 20 minutes walk away. Even though it’s an apartment there is a reception of sorts, with someone there to check you in.

M In Korat

I had a double room with a private bathroom. The room was pretty old, but apart from the appearance of it being old and run down everything was fine and in working order.

Bed

The room had a big window and balcony, providing plenty of natural light. The room had air conditioning, which was needed in the day time.

Room

The bathroom was also looking on the old side, though it too was also in a clean and orderly state.

Bathroom

There is free wifi at the property, and I had no problem connecting in my room. There is a lounge area outside next to the entrance.

Overall this was a good place to stay in Korat if you are just looking for a cheap place to stay.

Book the M In Korat online or search for more hotels in Nakhon Ratchasima.
