Hotel Review: Lemontree Residence, Sri Racha – Thailand

January 28, 2025 By James Clark

Lemontree Residence Sri Racha

Review of the Lemontree Residence in Sri Racha, Thailand – a budget hotel residence in a central location in Sri Racha.

Hotel Name: Lemontree Residence.
Address: 68 Thetsaban 1 Road,, Sri Racha, Chonburi, Thailand.

I stayed at the Lemontree Residence in Sri Racha, Thailand. I booked online at the rate of 600 THB ($17.87 USD) per night, and I booked it for price and location in Sri Racha.

I was unfamiliar with Sri Racha so I didn’t know where was a good area. I had read that the Pacific Place Mall was in a central location so I looked for a room near there.

The Lemontree Residence is in an apartment complex near Pacific Place Mall. The entrance to the apartment is via a plaza that is above a carpark.

The plaza has some shops and entry to another apartment complex.

There are signs on the street outside and in the plaza that point to the Lemontree Residence.

To Lemontree Residence

The Lemontree Residence has a reception area but it is not staffedd full-time. This accommodation is indeed a residence and not a hotel or guesthouse. You will get a message when you book with contact details, so you should arrange to meet before you arrive. This is the main inconvenience of booking accommodation in apartment rooms.

I was met by a friendly manager and was shown to my room.

Lemontree reception

On my way to the Lemontree Residence I started singing the Lemontree song in my head, then I saw that they have the lyrics to the song in the reception area.

The room was much larger than I expected. I knew the building would be old, but everything was in good order.

Lemontree room

The bed was comfortable and the room had air conditioning. There is wifi in the building and I had a decent reception in my room.

The room also has a nice little lounge chair.

My room had a view facing out to the city area.

In contrast to the big room, the bathroom was very small. My knees were knocking the sink while on the toilet. It was also odd that there was no mirrow in the bathroom (the mirror was outside the bathroom).

There is a common area near the stairs if you want to hang out with other residents. I was offered a long-term deal, so it seems like the sort of place that people coming for work would stay at.

Overall this was a good budget option in Sri Racha in a city that that doesn’t have many budget options to choose from. This turned out to be the best location as well. If you are looking for where to stay, the area between the sea and Sukhumvit Road is the best option. There is a night market next to Pacific Place Mall, and the bus from Bangkok drops off passengers opposite the mall.

Book the Lemontree Residence online or search for more hotels in Sri Racha.
