Hotel Review: Indra Hotel Hatyai, Hat Yai – Thailand

Hotel Review: Indra Hotel Hatyai, Hat Yai - Thailand

Hotel review of the Indra Hotel Hatyai, a budget hotel in Hat Yai, Thailand.

Hotel Name: Indra Hotel Hatyai.
Address: 92, Thammanoonwithi, Hat Yai Central, Hat Yai, Thailand.

I stayed at the Indra Hotel Hatyai in Hat Yai, Thailand. I booked online at the rate of 515 THB per night ($14.80 USD), and I booked it for it’s price and location in Hat Yai.

Indra Hotel Hatyai

The Indra Hotel Hatyai is on one of the most central corners in the city centre. The hotel is on the main street that faces the train station, so it’s easy to find. I have been to Hat Yai before, so I knew that this was the best area to stay in Hat Yai. If you haven’t been before, here is my Hat Yai trip report.

While the main sign is on the corner, there are shops on the ground level, so look out for the sign.

There is a big lobby area, and I was here on a weekend when there were many Malaysians visiting.

The outside of the hotel looked old, so I didn’t know what to expect inside while I walked through the corridor.

I booked a “Budget Twin Room”. The room was old but kept in good maintenance. The room had a central air-conditioner, which gave away the age of the hotel.

There is free wifi, and I had a good reception in my room.

The bed was comfortable and the purple bed covers were a refreshing change from the usual safe beige hotel colours.

The room had a fridge and TV set, of which I bothered neither.

Someone must have done something bad if they had to make a sign like this.

The bathroom was in good condition. I like how the older hotels have a sink in a bench.

My room had a window facing out to the main street.

Overall this was a good budget hotel option in Hat Yai. It’s an ageing hotel but kept in good condition, and I found it suitable for while I was just passing through.

Book the Indra Hotel Hatyai online or search for more hotels in Hat Yai.
