Hotel Review: Hotel Snow Lavender – Singapore

April 16, 2019 By James Clark

Hotel Review: Hotel Snow Lavender - Singapore

Hotel Name: Hotel Snow Lavender
Address: 26 Cavan Rd, Singapore.

I stayed at the Hotel Snow Lavender in Singapore. I booked it for it’s price and location in Singapore. I got a single room with a private bathroom for the rate of $32.05 USD, which is an amazing deal for Singapore. There are hostel beds that cost more than that, so I was happy to have a private room.

Lavender is a good area to stay in, and I have it listed in my best areas to stay in Singapore guide. Lavender is on the East West MRT line, providing direct access to the airport. And from here you can walk to central Singapore (albeit a hot and sweaty walk).

Cavan Rd, Singapore

Hotel Snow Lavender is a short walk from Lavender MRT in a quiet street of mixed businesses.

The reception area is very small, which was a sneak preview of how small my room was going to be. I knew it was going to be small, as space comes at a price in Singapore (like Hong Kong). My room had a single bed with just enough space on the side to place my bags and move about. The bed was comfortable and the room was air conditioned. The hanging space and mirror was placed in a useful spot by the bed.

Bed

A little desk by the bed to place items. The room came with free drinking water, which was more useful for having a bottle for the rest of the day. You can drink the tap water in Singapore, so no need to buy any more bottled water. I had a big window in my room which only had a view of the wall next door. Better than no window though. There is free wifi at the hotel, and I had no issues with the connection during my stay.

Desk

The brightly-painted bathroom was clean and in good condition.

Bathroom

There is no breakfast service here, so the best option is the Indian restaurant a few doors down. It’s open 23 hours and has the classic roti breakfast.

ABC King

Overall this was a good place to stay in Singapore if you want a cheap private room. These sort of deals change of course, so check the price of Hotel Snow Lavender online or search for more hotels in Singapore.
