Hotel Review: BBHouse Phra Athit, Bangkok – Thailand

Hotel Review: BBHouse Phra Athit, Bangkok - Thailand

Hotel review of BBHouse Phra Athit in the backpacker area of Bangkok, Thailand.

Hotel Name: BBHouse Phra Athit.
Address: 80 Soi Chanasongkhram, Pra-Arthit Rd, Khaosan, Bangkok, Thailand.

I stayed at BBHouse Phra Athit in Bangkok. I booked online at the rate of 450 THB ($12.50 USD) per night, and I booked it for its price and location in Bangkok.

BBHouse is in an alley off Rambuttri Road in the Khao San Road banckpacker area of Bangkok.

This is the best area to stay in Bangkok for backpackers and those on a budget. I usually stay on Sukhumvit Road, but I sometimes like to stay in this area for a change. I liked the location of BBHouse because it is near the Chao Phraya River, so it is easy to get the riverboat from here.

BBHouse Phra Athit is a small hotel that almost feels like a guesthouse. I arrived early so I left my bags until it was time to check in at 2pm. I was then shown to my room.

BBHouse Phra Athit reception

I booked a single room with a window view. Sometimes a single room is just a double bed, but in this case it was a single bed. It was a small room but it was all I needed.

Despite the size the room had a useful open cupboard area to place personal items.

The room had air conditioning (which was required) and I had a good wifi reception in my room.

The bathroom was also small but otherwise it was manageable and kept in good condition. My bathroom had a window, which may not be the case for internal rooms.

There is a little hangout lounge in the reception area. There is no kitchen here, but I noticed people bringing food back to eat in this area. There is cheap food absolutely everywhere in this neighbourhood, so there is no problem finding something to eat.

I liked my stay here and I ended up extending my stay rather than looking for another room.

Overall this was a good place to stay if you are looking for a budget room in the backpacker area of Bangkok.

Book the BBHouse Phra Athit online or search for more hotels in Bangkok.
