Hostel Review: Urban House, San Sebastian – Spain

July 24, 2015 By James Clark

Hostel Name: Urban House
Address: Plaza Gipuzkoa, 2, San Sebastian, Spain

Urban House, San Sebastian - Spain

I stayed at Urban House in San Sebastian, Spain. I booked online and paid $36.77 USD for a night for a single bed in 4-bed dormitory room. I booked it a few days before I arrived so there wasn’t many hostels available (peak season in July). The are cheaper hostels but this one had the best location out of the remaining.

The hostel is located in the middle of the old town area. There are actually two buildings for this hostel, so when I checked into the official address I was then walked to the other building around the corner.

My dorm room was spacious and bright, with big windows and a balcony overlooking a plaza. The room was pretty basic though, with only one power outlet for the whole room. I arrived first so I selected a bed next to the lonely outlet. There were lockable lockers in the room for bags.

The share bathroom was ok but one of the shower doors was missing.

Self-caterers have a kitchen at their disposal.

And there is also a small common area. The wifi was good in all areas.

Book the Urban House online or search for more hostels in San Sebastian.
