Hotel Review: Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel, London

June 29, 2015 By James Clark Leave a Comment

Hotel Name: Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel
Address: 31-36 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7LH, UK

Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel, London

I stayed at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel in London. I was a guest of Club Carlson, who provided points for my stay in London.

The Hampshire is right on Leicester Square (pronounced as Lester) which is the heart of the West End theatre and entertainment district of London. The square is a pedestrian area surrounded by cinemas in a very touristy part of town. The Leicester Square tube station is nearby and you can walk easily to nearby station on other lines.

The hotel is set in a beautiful old brick building which stands from the rest of Leicester Square which is now mostly modern buildings.

I stayed in a double and the room was quite spacious for being in central London. My room had three large windows facing the side street, so there was plenty of natural light. The room had a small work desk as well.

The wifi was good, just a one-time login and on multiple devices – no need to re login every time you return to your room.

Overall this was a great stay with all the standards you come to expect from Radisson Blu. Location-wise it is suitable for visitors who want to do all the touristy things in a short amount of time.
