Hotel Review: Park Plaza Victoria, London

July 2, 2015 By James Clark

Hotel Name: Park Plaza Victoria
Address: 239 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London SW1V 1EQ, UK

Park Plaza Victoria, London

I stayed at the Park Plaza Victoria in London. I was a guest of Club Carlson, who provided points for my stay in London. I picked the hotel location as I am familiar with the Victoria area and I was getting a bus from the Victoria Coach Station the next morning. The hotel is also close to Victoria Station so it is convenient if you have to get a flight to Gatwick early in the morning.

The first thing I noticed about the Park Plaza was how spacious it was. I’ve come to expect hotel in London (even luxury hotels) to be on the small side.

Bar - Park Plaza Victoria

I got a double room which was spacious as well. I will note that I was in a mobility access room so I don’t know how that compares to a regular room.

Bed - Park Plaza Victoria

I had a big desk which had an espresso coffee pod machine in addition to the usual tea and coffee hotel set.

The bathroom was bright and spacious.

I was confused about the wifi at first because it is listed on the menu and a 24 hourly rate. I then saw it was for free, and supposedly the buy rate was for faster internet. I’m not sure why you would get that as the internet on offer was great.
