Where I’m At is my monthly update of what I’ve been up to, site news, and where I’m going next.
Greetings from Makassar. Yes, I’m back in Indonesia and visiting the island of Sulawesi for the first time. And after two months of eating all of the pastries in Europe it is good to be back on the noodles.
Where I’ve Been
August was the month of visiting some of the popular digital nomad cities of Europe. I started in Budapest, then Prague and Berlin. I’ve been a regular visitor to Budapest for years so I knew what to expect there. I hadn’t been to Prague or Berlin for 10 years though, so it was good to see what has changed.
Prague is still as charming as ever but overwhelming in August with the crowds. Berlin is everything that I was told it would be – a haven for hipster and nomads. I would like to give Berlin a longer stay next time so maybe next year.
I have a backlog of blog posts which will be cleared once I am more stationary. at the end of the month.
Travel Plans
I have two weeks in Sulawesi this month. This is not enough time to visit the whole island so I am staying in South Sulawesi. After that I flyback to Singapore, travel to KL, and then spend the rest of the month in Chiang Mai. I haven’t been to Chiang Mai for over three years so I am looking forward to returning.
ICYMI – Last months posts
The more I travel the less I blog so it was another slow month on the blog-front.

Site News
You may have noticed that I haven’t posted the Nomadic News last month. I’m still bookmarking interesting links like I usually do but for now I will be posting the links on the newsletter. If you haven’t already joined you can sign up here.
