Kampot Travel Guide

Kampot is a small town in south-east Cambodia and is a popular escape place from the chaos of Phnom Penh. The town retains a collection of colonial era buildings and its riverside location adds to its charm.

Don’t forget to pick a bunch of peppers Khmer pepper is the best! And, while you’re there check out the salt fields – something to see too!

I need to get back to Cambodia, especially to that area. I felt really rushed the last time I was there. Only got to spend a couple days in the coastal areas.
