Hostel Review: Hostel Suites Palermo, Buenos Aires

Hostel Review: Hostel Suites Palermo, Buenos Aires

Hostel Name: Hostel Suites Palermo
Address: Charcas 4752, Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina

I was staying in Buenos Aires for two weeks so I wanted to split my time between two neighbourhoods. I first stayed in San Telmo and then I moved to Palermo Soho.

I booked the Hostel Suites Palermo for its location in Palermo (near a metro station) and for having a 4 bed dorm available.

Hostel Suites Palermo, Buenos Aires

The Hostel Suites Palermo is a YHA hostel which I always find to be clean and well organised. The reception had lots of maps guidebooks available for BA and Argentina. Just standing there reading all the things to do made me wish I had more time in Argentina.

My 4 bed dorm was clean and not too cramped, and each bed had a large locker under the bottom bed. What the room didn’t have though was useful power outlets. There was one for the fan that was not near any bed. I found this to be a common theme in the old buildings of BA – that the rooms haven’t been renovated to cater for todays traveller with electronics.

If it wasn’t for the power outlet situation this place would have ticked all the boxes for me. The breakfast was a satisfactory offering and the common area has good tables to work from. For my recharging needs I just had to be more organised and charge up in the evening in the common area.

Book the Hostel Suites Palermo online or search for more hostels and hotels in Buenos Aires.
