Hostel Review: Hostel John Galt, Brno – Czech Republic

July 11, 2015 By James Clark

Hotel Name: Hostel John Galt
Address: Novobranska 4, Brno, Czech Republic

Hostel John Galt, Brno - Czech Republic

I stayed at the Hostel John Galt in Brno, Czech Republic. I booked it online for €13 in a 4-bed dorm. I picked it for its close location to the main train station.

The location was great, being less than 10 minutes walk from the station, and in the old town area.

The hostel is in an office block on the top floor. I met two different receptionists here and they were both welcoming and helpful.

My dorm had 4 bed and and there was enough space. There was only one power outlet in the room though, which was not convenient to charge my electronics.

The common area was a small open space that housed the reception desk, kitchen, and chill out area. I could find any convenient power outlets here either, so I just recharged from the one outlet in my room.

The bathroom were at the other end of the space and were clean and tidy.

Overall the hostel was clean and friendly, but felt a bit small and lacking in power outlets. It was ok for a night.

Book the Hostel John Galt online or search for more hostels in Brno.
