Hotel Review: Grand Quality Hotel Yogyakarta – Indonesia

April 20, 2009 By James Clark

Hotel Review: Grand Quality Hotel Yogyakarta - Indonesia

Hotel Name: Grand Quality Hotel Yogyakarta
Address: Jl. Adisucipto No 48, Yogyakarta Airport, Yogyakarta, Indonesia

I stayed at the Grand Quality Hotel in Yogyakarta as a guest of the hotel, which was arranged by Tourism Indonesia, who I was writing on behalf of.

Grand Quality Jogja, Yogyakarta

I like Indonesian guesthouses but it has been good to have a break in a business-class hotel and have access to free wi-fi from my room. And a pool.

In fact the hotel is so fancy that the elevators have daily carpet changes indicating what day it is.

[If it’s Wednesday it must be Yogyakarta]

Many of the international hotel chains in Jogja are out near the airport, which is about 8km from the city. They have a shuttle bus that runs to the city centre, so I have to plan my days activities around the shuttle or get a taxi.

One thing about this hotel is that its a plane spotters dream. I can’t help but look at a plane landing every time I hear one coming.

Book the Grand Quality Hotel Yogyakarta online or search for more hotels in Yogyakarta.

Hi Daniele, I don’t remember the name of the place I stayed but the best area is the guesthouses near the train station. Enjoy Indo!
