Hostel Review: Equity Point London Hostel, London – UK

April 15, 2016 By James Clark

Hostel Name: Equity Point London Hostel
Address: 100-102 Westbourne Terrace, Hyde Park, London, W2 6QE, United Kingdom.

Equity Point London Hostel, London - UK

I stayed at the Equity Point Hostel in London. I booked online at £25.20 per night ($36 USD). I had stayed here a few years ago and remembered it to be a decent hostel (by London’s standards) so I stayed again.

The hostel is about 10 minutes walk from Paddington Station so it is convenient for public transport or if you arrive from the Heathrow Express. It’s a great neighbourhood as well with grand buildings lining the streets. The hostel occupies two of these properties.

Westbourne Terrace

I booked an 8-bed dorm with an attached bathroom. I usually stay in smaller dorms but this was pretty good for an 8-bedder. Each bed had a power outlet and lamp and there was a big locker for each bed.

8-bed dorm

The bathroom was clean and orderly with almost instant hot water. It could have used some more space to hang things though.

Bathroom

The hostel has a great breakfast for a hostel. It is an open buffet and includes cereals, toast, yogurt, individually wrapped single portions of cheese, coffee, and juice.

Breakfast

The internet is free throughout the property, and computers are available for a fee if you are one of the few people left in the world without some sort of device that can view the internet.

Internet

Overall this was a good hostel to stay at. Considering how big it is (5 floors over two buildings) it was kept in good condition.

Book the Equity Point London Hostel online or search for more hotels and hostels in London.
