Apartment Review: Cheval Phoenix House, London

November 4, 2014 By James Clark

Apartment Review: Cheval Phoenix House, London

Apartment Name: Cheval Phoenix House
Address: 1 Wilbraham Place, Sloane Street, London SW1X 9AE, UK

I stayed at the Cheval Phoenix House as a guest of Cheval Residences, who offer luxury serviced apartments in London. Phoenix House is located just around the corner from Sloane Square; a name synonymous with the well-to-do of London.

The apartment I stayed in was one of the split-level one bedroom apartments. The entry was via the top where the loungeroom and kitchen are located.

Loungeroom

A thoughtful welcome tray of fruit and snacks.

Welcome refreshments

For those who cook there is a fully equipped kitchen.

Kitchen

Of course my favourite feature was the Nespresso coffee machine with a full tray of capsules.

Downstairs is the bedroom and main bathroom. The bedroom comprised of a ridiculously comfortable bed with an iPod dock next to the bed.

My work desk where I made the most of the excellent wifi connection. Did a podcast interview here and caught up on some work.

And here’s the bathroom for the bedroom.

Cheval Phoenix House is less than 5 minutes walk from the Sloan Square tube station, one stop from Victoria Station, and close to the Kings Road chopping street in Chelsea.

There are eight properties in the Cheval Residences London group.
