Cayman Islands Travel Guide

August 28, 2014 By James Clark

Travel Notes > Cayman Islands Travel Guide

The Cayman Islands is a British Overseas Territory and is comprised of three islands: Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. The islands are in the Western Caribbean, south of Cuba. The capital of George Town is on Grand Cayman, which is the largest island in the group. This is the home of the Cayman Islands financial services industry, where all those offshore bank accounts are managed.

The Cayman Islands are a popular stop on the Caribbean cruise circuit and its proximity to the US gives it a more US feel than British.
