Hotel Name: Art Room 261.
Address: Trg kralja Petra Kresimira IV, Zagreb, Croatia.
I stayed at Art Room 261 in Zagreb, Croatia. This is an apartment accommodation that I booked on Airbnb, though such places in Zagreb are also on hotel booking sites. I booked online at the rate of €40.97 ($48.09 USD) per night, and I booked it for its location in Zagreb.
This accommodation is located in an apartment block that faces a park in the city centre. The apartment was easy to find, and the check-in procedure was easy to follow. I had a problem with the entrance key, but once I worked out the correct way to jiggle the key I was ok for the rest of my stay.
The apartment is in a half-basement, and it shares an entrance with another apartment. There is a hallway for the two apartment entrances.
Art Room 261 is a studio apartment, and I had the place to myself (remember to check if you are sharing with the owner when booking on Airbnb). The room was very spacious and it had a comfortable double bed. There is free wifi here, and I had no problem connecting in my room.
The studio room includes a lounge area, and a TV that faces the bed (not that I ever watch TV in rented accommodation). There is a big window facing the back garden of the apartment. The room is below ground level but not so low as to not have a view.
The bathroom was clean and in good order, though the shower doors felt awkward to get in and out of. Not much room around the sink either.
Being next to a park was a bonus, and I enjoyed walking through here when coming and going from the apartment.
There are supermarkets nearby, and it is about 5-minutes walk from my favourite cafe in Zagreb.
Overall this was a great place to stay if you would like to stay in private studio accommodation. The location next to the park and general walkability made it an ideal base to explore more of Zagreb. The apartment is also between the main train station and main bus station.
