Airport Lounge Review: Silverkris Lounge – London Heathrow

August 30, 2015 By James Clark

Silverkris Lounge – London Heathrow

I was invited by Singapore Airlines to review the Premium Economy service from London to Singapore. Before the flight I was provided a pass to the SilverKris Lounge at London Heathrow.

The lounge is open to business and first class passengers on Singapore Airlines and other Star Alliance airlines, Kris Flyer Gold and PPS Club members (and Star Alliance equivalents), as well as Virgin Australia’s Velocity Platinum and Gold card-holders can also access the lounge.

Lounge Chairs

My first order of business was to find the coffee machine.

All the lounge seats have personal lights and a power outlet.

Lounge View

I liked these chairs with a window view.

The lounge has some work booths for more privacy.

Work Booths

There is free wifi in the lounge (not the public Heathrow wifi) and if you prefer to read your news old school-style, there are a selection of newspapers from the UK and Singapore.

Newspapers

My flight was at midday so I was in the lounge for breakfast. There was a selection of hot food, pastries, and cereal.

The lounge also has shower facilities and a TV area.
