Sri Mahamariamman Temple, Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia.
Travel Photos: Kuala Lumpur photo gallery
Hindusim has much in the way of intricate symbolism with relation to its many gods and stories. No temple of theirs is boring!
Great photo, I took the very same one – did you have trouble pronouncing “Sri Mahamariamman” when asking the locals for directions? haha, I did.
I still don’t know how to pronounce it!
Last time I was there a rat ran over my feet. Everyone stood back and wished me luck because that’s what it apparently means – awkward!!
Ha! I have heard about rat temples in India where, as the name suggest, the temples are dedicated to rats.
Very nice photo. I didn’t know that there is a wonderful temple in Malaysia. thanks you so much for sharing this. it is a inspiration for Hindu community.
Now that’s a temple and a half! The name is just as impressive to me
