The Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque and ceremonial ship, Bandar Seri Begawan – Brunei. The building is built in an artificial lagoon and the main dome is covered in pure gold.

Hi Eva, thanks for that. I went inside but non muslims can only visit certain sections. It at least gives you a glimpse of the inside.

It’s really amazing mosque. If the main dome is made of gold, do you know how much gold is used to make the dome of this mosque? and that I want to know whether Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque is private property or in other words, built at a cost of just one person?
