[Travel Photo] Nyugati Station, Budapest – Hungary

Nyugati Station, Budapest - Hungary
[Budapest-Nyugati pályaudvar (Western railway station)]

One of the reasons I love train travel in Europe is for the old train stations. Nyugati station in Budapest was built in the 1870′s by the Eiffel Company and is just one of the many beautiful buildings that can be found in the city.

[I travelled to Budapest thanks to Eurail.com.]

Train stations are by themselves wonderful attractions to admire!
I look all the interesting stations up and I thoroughly examine and photograph them. Too bad, this one was a bit worn-down the last time I visited Budapest. I hope they restore it!
