The Capital of Morocco is…

…Rabat. Like Brasilia in Brazil and Canberra in Australia, Rabat is probably not every ones first guess for the capital of Morocco. The city is a mix of tidy administrative buildings as well as a Medina (old city) and a Kasbah (old fort).

Also impressive is the minaret and pillars of Le Tour Hassan. This mosque was destroyed by an earthquake in 1755.
